Weddings
(main and second shooting)

A note to anyone who considers hiring me to photograph their biggest day —
Your wedding is a vision and external proclamation of your internal experience, which is deeply profound, complex and doesn’t need to be captured in the form of images or video.
Because this is true, deciding to have your day captured is a big deal. The images/video deserve to be handled with extreme care, and yield their focus to you and your partner.
Your wedding is not informed by images but rather images are informed by your wedding day.
Your wedding is not content and not an opportunity for someone else to benefit from the images and videos made during it.
I understand the sacrifice that it is to put trust into the hands of an unfamiliar person, or to have an unfamiliar person present during your wedding day.
Because of the weight of these decisions, my choice and preference is always to operate and to capture in a way that is easily molded and customized to the benefit of the couple, and to have in depth conversations with you about my role in your day.
