About!
I’m Campbell! I am a follower of Jesus as well as a visual artist and studio art student at the University of Arkansas. I originally grew up in Tulsa, Ok, where I learned how to create. I was mainly a painter in high school, and later found joy in photography by picking up a 35mm point and shoot camera. I still practice a range of visual art practices, which my studio art degree has allowed me to strengthen all areas of. I find a lot of fulfillment in making stuff and having multiple creative outlets at once, extending but not limited to - custom calligraphy, hand made custom greeting cards, digital design, pottery and ceramics, sewing my own clothing, anything illustration related, as well as creative writing on substack.
I currently work in digital and film photography as well as analog motion picture film making. All of these different forms of making have allowed me to keep myself curious because working with film is an ever-challenging but equally rewarding process.
As I’ve progressed in photographic experience, I’ve found commissioned photography and filmmaking for weddings to be an extension of my artistic/personal work, I photograph and film-make from an intentionally truthful and observant view. If you plan to hire me to document your day, I am happy to explain in depth on my artistic philosophy, and why making photos and films for weddings is so near to my heart. Thank you for allowing me to do what I love by capturing what you love.
Warmly,
Campbell
